My name is Lauryn McGee. I am a hairstylist/makeup artist at Meraki Salon & More in Oakdale, Louisiana. Branded as “The Modern Shag” to honor my late Aunt Dee’s salon, “The Shag”, hair as been an important part of our family my entire life. My passion for this industry not only offers me opportunities to meet new people, but gives me a chance to let my client’s enter beauty shine. My goal is to have everyone who sits in my chair leave feeling like the best version of themselves. To find the confidence buried in every one of my clients and bring it back to life. With 6+ years of experience, I love staying up to date with the newest trends while giving a modern spin to the classics.
